BURNSIDE DENTAL CARE

Mark and Adam took over the practice in 2017, changing the name to Burnside Dental Care. They were keen to maintain the high standards of care that the practice was known for but felt it could improve upon the services offered whilst modernising the delivery of care; adding new and innovative treatment options such as adult orthodontics and implant treatments.

All of our staff possess a wealth of experience and have been helping our patients, with a smile on their face, for a combined 70 years or so! They are committed to serving the people of Burnside and beyond and do so with professionalism and the warmest of welcomes.

Dentists

Adam Gilmartin

Adam is a partner at Burnside Dental care and graduated from the University of Dundee with commendation in 2010. He enjoys all aspects of Dentistry. He has a broad range of experience and has held posts in Perth and Stirling before starting as Principal Dentist at Burnside Dental Care. Adam enjoys learning through continuous professional development and has done further training in cosmetically focused orthodontics and implant restorations. Adam has a relaxed and calming attitude and always seeks to put our patients at ease when they come in to see us (he even lets you pick the music!!) We always seek to deliver tailored treatment plans which suit our patients needs, wants and budgets.

Mark Church

Dentist 191143

Mark is a partner at Burnside Dental Care and qualified from the University of Dundee in 2010. He has worked in general practice since then. Mark completed Membership of Joint Dental Faculties exams for the Royal College of Surgeons (England) in 2015. Mark is currently undergoing further training in comprehensive orthodontic treatments which will allow him to offer more complex orthodontic treatments.

Monica Graham

Monica joined the team as an Associate Dentist in 2024. Monica graduated
from the University of Glasgow in 2014 and worked in Shettleston as an
associate dentist for many years before more recently moving to our team
in Burnside. She has undertaken several professional examinations
including the MFDS and more recently she acquired a Post Graduate
Diploma in Endodontics from the University of Chester.

Monica has a special interest in Endodontics but also loves all
aspects of general dentistry. She enjoys getting to know her patients
and making them feel at ease in the surgery.

Outside of work Monica is kept busy with her 3 small children and very
large extended family.

Dental Therapist/Hygienist

Megan Campbell

Megan joined the practice in 2021 and is a valued member of the team. She brings with her a bubbly and friendly personality which shines through when she is treating our patients. Megan carries out a wide range of treatments including gum treatment and hygiene advice to adult fillings and children’s dentistry. She is also qualified in facial aesthetics and has an interest in cosmetic dentistry.

Outside of work Megan is a foodie, enjoys keeping fit and going to the gym regularly.

Eilidh Cunningham

Eilidh qualified in 2022 from Glasgow Caledonian University gaining her degree in Oral Health Sciences and now has been working as a dental therapist ever since.

Eilidh has always had an interest in dentistry as before gaining her degree she was a dental nurse for over 5 years.

Special interests of Eilidhs include restorative dentistry & all things paediatric dentistry, she also likes seeing nervous patients – helping them becoming confident within the dental environment and getting treatment done.

In her spare time Eilidh enjoys going to the gym, seeing her friends & family and her favourite furry friends Bella & Ruby.

Nicola Maclure

Nicola has been a dental nurse for 20 years and has been at the practice for the last 15 years. Recently, Nicola moved to a new role within the practice. As manager, Nicola will often be the first point of contact for patients and staff alike. In her spare time, Nicola enjoy spending time with family and friends.

Our wonderful team have been working at the practice for a combined total of 70 years!

They possess a wealth of experience and continue to provide an excellent service to our lovely patients. They are always on hand to give reassurance and provide comforting chairside assistance.
